We are authorized partners with several rental car companies, the local airline and ground transfer providers. 

If you need assistance in booking any of these services Utopia Caribe will be more than happy to help you with arrange your preferred transportation choice.

Rental Car –

Driving yourself is always an option, preferably chose a rental car company that has offices in the Caribbean either in the Port City of Limón or in the Beach Town of Puerto Viejo, this way you can pick up and/or drop off car rental and avoid drop off fees.

Local Airline flights -

30-minute flight to/from San José + 1 hour transfer from Limón Airport to Puerto Viejo.

Depending on the season there are between 2 and 3 daily scheduled flights.

**some flights may include 1 stop

Car Rentals can be delivered at Airport.

Ground transfers -

If you prefer not to drive, private and shuttle transfers are available.

Public bus service -

Daily direct service to/from San Jose to Puerto Viejo on comfortable, modern numbered seat buses.
