Villa Ópalo is a private tropical retreat in Playa Negra, designed for families, wellness escapes, and elevated group stays. Surrounded by lush nature and just 10 minutes from Puerto Viejo and nearby beaches, the property features a private pool, AC in the main house bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, hot water, and 1:1 fiber optic internet. Designed for 1 to 16 guests, the home adapts by opening bedrooms according to the number of guests in the reservation.

The space

Your rate varies according to the number of guests included in the reservation. Bedrooms and tepees are opened based on the confirmed guest count to ensure comfort and the best use of the property.

General layout:
• 1–12 guests → Main house (4 bedrooms)
• 13–14 guests → Main house + 1 private tepee
• 15–16 guests → Main house + 2 private tepees

If your group size changes before arrival, please let us know in advance so we can adjust the setup accordingly.

All spaces are exclusively for your group and are never shared with other guests. Villa Ópalo offers a private tropical setting surrounded by lush nature, spacious outdoor areas, and a peaceful atmosphere ideal for families, wellness retreats, and relaxed group stays.

The home features an open-concept tropical design created to maximize natural airflow and ventilation throughout the property.

As part of the jungle experience, it is common to hear tropical wildlife and nature sounds throughout the day and evening.

To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the area, parties and excessive noise are not allowed on the property.

Exterior security cameras are located only in outdoor areas and do not face private guest spaces.

Access for guests

Los huéspedes tendrán acceso exclusivo a toda la propiedad y a todas las áreas preparadas según la cantidad de huéspedes incluidos en la reserva.

Esto incluye la casa principal, piscina privada, áreas exteriores, cocina totalmente equipada, parqueo y los tepees correspondientes según la cantidad confirmada de huéspedes.

El acceso a habitaciones y tepees se organiza de la siguiente manera:
• 1–12 huéspedes → Casa principal (4 habitaciones)
• 13–14 huéspedes → Casa principal + 1 tepee privado
• 15–16 huéspedes → Casa principal + 2 tepees privados

La propiedad nunca se comparte con otros huéspedes.

Additional Notes

Villa Ópalo is located in a quiet residential area surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. Parties and events are not allowed on the property. We kindly ask guests to maintain a moderate noise level, especially during the evening, to respect neighbors and the peaceful natural surroundings.

The property offers private parking for 4–5 vehicles depending on vehicle size and features stable high-speed 1:1 fiber optic internet, ideal for remote work.

For stays of one week or longer, guests enjoy a complimentary mid-stay housekeeping service. Our team will carefully refresh the home, replace linens and towels, and maintain the property under the highest standards of comfort and care.

Quiet hours: out of respect for our neighbors, please avoid loud noises between 9:00 PM and 10:00 AM.
No smoking: smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited.
Parties & events: please do not host parties or events without prior authorization.
Pets: pets are not allowed anywhere on the property, as the owners have allergies. Anyone arriving with a pet will have to leave the property immediately and will lose their booking (no refund).
